Are vaccinations required?
Yes. Vaccinations can be brought with you to your first reservation or your vet can email them directly to us at email@example.com. If you vaccinate yourself, please bring proof of the sticker from the vaccination. We have our own farm dogs here and for the safety and health of all the animals, we need to require vaccinations. Thank you.
Yes Please! We have three forms. One is our liability/waiver form and the other form are our client information forms. If you are bringing more than one dog, please just fill out the “additional client form” – it has less information on it since they are all from the same household.
What are your hours of operation? What are your drop-off/pick-up hours?
Regular hours are Thursday – Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please use the “Check Availability” link on our main page to see what we have open for your specific days. During Thanksgiving & Christmas, we will run extended days to accommodate family needs. We also will be open in April for all local school district spring breaks and we will be open 7 days a week during summer until after labor day weekend. If you need an extra day due to travel, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are open to drop-off/pick-up anytime during the days we are open. If there is an emergency/delayed flight, etc., – please always text us. Since we live on the property it is easy to make accommodations when necessary.
Do you have discounts for multiple dogs?
Yes! If you have multiple dogs we will give discounts on our daily rates. First dog is at our regular rate of $40.00 and 2nd dog sharing same cabin is 50% off, $20.00 per day. If you have a more unique situation, please just contact us.
Are there breed restrictions? Do you allow intact dogs?
There are not breed restrictions here and we will allow intact dogs. We are a 100% individual dog kennel facility unless they are from the same household, so letting dogs out should not be a stressful event since they will happen one at a time, each time they are taken out for potty or play sessions.
What do I need to bring to their stay?
Collar & leash are a necessity. We prefer that you bring their regular food (in small individual baggies to store easy in their canvas totes) to help them feel at their best. If you need us to provide their meals while here we feed Nutro brand dog kibble and it is an extra $5.00 fee for each day. We also have bedding and toys here, but you are MORE than welcome to bring whatever you think will make them the most comfortable and happiest pups while they are away from home.
Are the cabins climate controlled?
Each cabin is both air conditioned and heated, depending on the season. During the day, their dog door will remain open so they can move between the inside and outside covered deck area.
How often will the dogs be let out?
Dogs will always be let out first thing in the morning and at night right before “lights out”. They will be let out again after breakfast & dinner, and multiple other times throughout the day for additional potty breaks and individual play time in the enclosed “off-leashed” area.
What if the weather is bad – do they still get to go out?
Even in bad weather, the dogs have to be let out. Since the decks are 100% covered, they will be able to still have access to the outdoors during bad weather if they choose to. They will be given the opportunity to be out in the enclosed area if they desire after their potty breaks but if they seem to cold or uncomfortable, they will be put back into their cabins for comfort.
Do you offer tours of the facility?
Yes! Just contact us and let us know you are interested and we will arrange a time that works for everyone. Feel free to bring your pet and let them pre-check their potential accommodations and if you want to, take them on a leashed walk around our nature trail system.
Do you have cameras in each cabin for us to check on our pets during their stay?
Initially, no. The wifi here at the farm works great up at the house because we are at a higher elevation than the dog cabin area, so our signal isn’t as strong down by the cabins. If you have a email or phone that accepts texts, it will be important to leave those with us so we can send you updates of videos & images during their stay.
What is the best way to contact you?
Whatever option works best for you, works for us. Email, phone (call or text), or Facebook message us – we will reply to them all. If no one answers the phone, please leave a voicemail or text and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Ask About Booking
We are a small owner operated facility. This is intentional. We want to give the best possible care to the dogs we board here at the farm. We are not currently taking cats, but plan to in the future. If you have a vacation coming up, book early!
